HorrorHound Weekend: Cincinnati, September 11-13th, 2026
This three-day event will be the largest Cincinnati HorrorHound Weekend to date, thanks to the newly renovated Sharonville Convention Center. With a vendor ballroom that is now double in space, we will not be doubling vendors – to assure quality is of our utmost focus for attending fans. This special 20th anniversary event also sees the return of Mask Fest – a Halloween-centric ballroom with dozens of mask makers, artists and vendors.
- Each passes gives wearer access to all normal show offerings, including vendor and celebrity hall, photo op areas, film festival, Mask Fest, and the Q&A panel room.
- Access to the HorrorHound Food Court. Yes, the HorrorHound Food Court! We host many of Cincinnati (and local area's) finest food vendors, including Skyline Chili, Nerdy BBQ, Chicken Mac Truck, The Poutine Machine, Chamoda’s Candy Café, Maui Wowie, and more!
- Access to Friday Night's Scareoke Party. Who doesn't love Karaoke!?!?
- Weekend passholders have access to our Night Terrors after hour events, which feature popular musical acts and additional entertainment. Past acts include such names as Corey Taylor, John 5 & the Creatures, Codefendants, Amigo the Devil, Blitzkid, Mushroomhead, Calabrese, Twiztid, Harley Poe, Nekromantix, Koffin Kats, The Undead, G Tom Mac, and many others.
- And not to forget – a weekend pass to HorrorHound Weekend also gains you access to HorrorHound Rewind, an online after-show event which features recorded Q&A panels, at-the-show interviews, and film screenings of many of the features and shorts that make up the HorrorHound Film Festival. A perfect way to catch anything you may have missed during the weekend itself.

A young CIA operative named Ben Howard rises from a homeless teenager to a high-ranking intelligence officer, but beneath his accomplished exterior lies a manipulative, abusive, and ultimately murderous man. His artist wife, April, endures years of emotional and physical abuse while secretly taking up pole dancing to earn money, seeing a therapist, and falling into an affair with both her best friend Liz Harlow and a contractor named Bohdi. When Liz's husband Norman is brutally murdered and Liz moves in with the Howards, a private investigator gradually uncovers that Ben is Norman's killer and that he raped Liz while holding Norman at gunpoint, fathering her son Junior. Liz orchestrates a careful escape, getting everyone out of Ben's house safely, after which April returns and fatally stabs Ben when he threatens her stripper colleagues at gunpoint. Freed from Ben's grip, April ultimately finds peace and love with Bohdi, who proposes to her in an area known as Mentone — which is also a mysterious word that had haunted her dreams from the very beginning.
