June 1974. Seven women are discovered dead in ritualistic formation in a rural clearing. Detective Jim Morrison arrives to investigate what appears to be a group suicide fueled by occult practices and drug use. But their grieving husbands share an uncanny unity and a bond deeper than grief. As Morrison continues his investigation, his grip on reality begins to crumble. The evidence he collects leads exactly where it should, but the truth feels just out of reach. In a town where institutional power runs deep, Morrison learns too late that he was never close to the truth.
