Paradox

After the sudden death of a close friend, a young man struggles to come to terms with the loss. One night, a message from the deceased friend's phone mysteriously appears on his screen. Then comes a phone call—answered by a voice that should no longer exist. As strange occurrences begin unfolding around him, fear slowly takes over. A familiar ringtone echoes through an empty house. Footsteps appear where no one should be. A mysterious silhouette watches from the darkness. But as reality begins to unravel, the question changes from "Who is haunting him?" to "Who is he really running from?" What begins as a terrifying encounter with the unknown becomes a journey into the self—a confrontation with the fears, thoughts, emotions, and versions of ourselves that we spend our lives trying to hide. PARADOX is a psychological horror short film about identity, self-acceptance, and the terrifying realisation that sometimes, the person we fear the most is the person we refuse to accept. The one you are running from… is you.
