Conversation with a Narcissist
Synopsis A man wakes up sitting in a chair inside an empty, abandoned, and deteriorated house. Surrounded by darkness, dust, cobwebs, decay, and an oppressive atmosphere, he is disoriented and has no idea where he is or how he arrived there. The unsettling silence is suddenly broken by a mysterious invisible voice that begins to ask him a seemingly simple question: "Do you regret anything?" From this moment on, a disturbing conversation begins between the man and the unknown voice, accompanied by a haunting and terrifying soundtrack that intensifies the feeling of fear and psychological tension. The voice may represent his conscience, his memories, God, or his own subconscious. As the dialogue unfolds, the man is forced to confront his past and the hidden aspects of his personality. Through his words and memories, a disturbing portrait emerges: a person marked by manipulation, selfishness, lack of empathy, and the emotional destruction of those who crossed his path. With a dark visual atmosphere, an eerie soundscape, and a constant sense of unease, "Conversation with a Narcissist" explores the psychological horror behind narcissistic behavior, emotional abuse, and relationships built on control and manipulation. Inspired by real experiences and accounts from people affected by narcissistic dynamics, the film transforms these stories into a cinematic journey through fear, memory, and psychological confrontation. The viewer is invited to reflect on power, emotional responsibility, and the consequences of our actions on others. Does remorse exist when someone is incapable of recognizing their own mistakes?
