THE VESSEL

The Vessel is a short animated psychological thriller inspired by the creator's recurring nightmares experienced while living in Mariabad, Quetta. Blending nightmare logic with cultural influences from Persian and Hazaragi traditions, the film creates a surreal world where fear and memory collide. The story follows Batool, a young girl bound by blood to an ancient demon god buried beneath flood and time. As the vessel in a forgotten ritual, she becomes the key to the demon's rebirth. Haunted by visions and supernatural forces, Batool must confront inherited trauma, guilt, and terror, ultimately choosing sacrifice to prevent the return of eternal evil.
