THE HATCH

A young Cadet, isolated on a massive bulk carrier, faces the grim reality of life at sea when his routine evening maintenance turns into a fight against the unknown. Filmed during off-duty hours at sea, this debut short horror film combines the authentic, claustrophobic environment of an ocean-going vessel with raw, sound-driven psychological horror, capturing the isolation experienced by those new to the ship.
