The Adventures of Darilo

On a morning in a Córdoba neighborhood, Darilo is at home trying to buy a blow-up doll online when his friend Adolfo visits him and invites him to spy on their neighbor lady. As they walk down the sidewalk, Adolfo mentions he'll be home alone that night and hatches a plan with Darilo to hire some prostitutes. Darilo gives Adolfo some money he stole from his grandfather for that purpose, but suddenly notices his uncle Rubén approaching in his car, watching them. They start running away, but while crossing the street, Rubén intercepts them with his car, hitting Darilo. Adolfo heads home, telling Darilo to come over later but before midnight, as his parents will return then. Rubén forces Darilo into the car with some threats and drives him away. That afternoon, they arrive at a cabin where Rubén expresses his frustration with Darilo's laziness and tells him that, as punishment for not studying, he'll spend the whole weekend working in the field. Inside the cabin, Darilo meets his uncle Raúl, who planned this kidnapping with Rubén, and both start ordering Darilo around, making him go into the woods to gather firewood. On his way, Darilo passes by the cabin's stable and spots a motorcycle inside, which he decides to steal and use to escape to Adolfo's house. That night, while riding back, Darilo crashes into a rock, damaging the bike and getting stranded in the forest. As he tries to find his way out, he gets more and more lost. Strange sounds and sights begin to haunt him until he comes face-to-face with a witch who attacks him. Meanwhile at the cabin, Rubén and Raúl eagerly wait for the firewood to sell, while Darilo manages to escape from the forest, returning to the cabin injured. Upon entering, the place seems deserted until Rubén and Raúl appear in their underwear, scolding him for not bringing back the firewood. As they attempt to send him back into the woods, Darilo hears a woman's voice calling Rubén and Raúl from the background. Surprised and eager to join them, Darilo is quickly shut down as they criticize him for doing no work since he arrived. The clock strikes midnight, and Darilo angrily blames them for ruining his chance once again and being the reason he's still a virgin. Raúl, feeling somewhat sorry, invites Darilo to relax in his room, promising to send him a surprise. The next morning, Darilo wakes up in his bed. A bottle of champagne and a glass are scattered on the bedside table. As he tries to recall what happened the night before, he notices he's in pain. He's then startled to see a large bear lying next to him, growling ferociously. Outside, Rubén and Raúl can hear Darilo's screams coming from the cabin with a trailer full of firewood and drive away.
