Splinter

Deep in the heart of the Appalachian mountain wilderness, two friends set out for a weekend hike, seeking tranquility, adventure, and relaxation from their urban lives. Armed with her late father's compass and map, Claire and her childhood friend, Alex, traverse breathtaking landscapes, unaware of the sinister force stalking their every move. As the sun dips below the horizon and shadows envelop their campsite, the idyllic escape turns into a nightmare. An ancient, malevolent presence emerges from the darkness, plunging them into terror. "Splinter" is a gripping, slow-burn descent into the horrors hidden within nature and how quickly we can succumb to the forces of nature and the supernatural.
