Him
Eva (19), her mother Mónica (46), and her grandmother Blanca (69) are thrown into financial and family turmoil when they can no longer afford the maintenance fees for the grave where the remains of Víctor (49)—Eva's father, Mónica's husband, and Blanca's son—are buried. As Mónica and Blanca struggle to decide whether to cremate Víctor's remains or leave them buried, Eva finds herself unable to cope with the situation, which stirs painful memories of the past. She visits her father's grave and performs a ritual to summon his spirit, but it fails. Instead, another entity answers her call and follows her home. That night, the specter appears in her bedroom and seduces her into following him to the Underworld. Eva accompanies him into the gloomy realm, where she confronts the trauma of her father's death. There, Víctor finally appears before her. But just as Eva reaches out to him, four demonic women intervene, preventing their reunion and carrying her away under a hypnotic spell. Eva suddenly awakens alone in her bedroom. There is no sign of the specter, of Víctor, or of the women. As she regains her bearings, someone knocks on her bedroom door. It is her father. Stunned, Eva embraces him, and he leaves her with a message that brings her comfort. Later, Eva, Mónica, and Blanca, dressed in mourning, travel to the banks of the Ubajay River. Standing at the water's edge, they scatter Víctor's ashes into the current, where they dissolve into the flowing river.
