CHAKRA

In a futuristic Kolkata, a man is found dead at the foot of Shaheed Minar, the tallest tower of Kolkata. The face of the dead man is demolished beyond identification. Kanad, a detective of Kolkata Police, starts with the investigation, collects the brain parts of the victim and sends them for analysis to Dr. Bagchi, a renowned neuro-scientist. Bagchi and Kanad try to read the memory of the victim through a newly devised machine created by Bagchi. It seems that the victim was a scientist, and his thoughts were innumerable and twisted right before his death. At night, alone in the laboratory, Bagchi realizes that the victim had found out the Theory of Everything, the magic scientific theory that can transport people across space and time through metaphysical gates, called wormholes. To his horror, he finds that he now has also understood the theory and there is no way he can stop getting sucked into a wormhole. Across time and space, Bagchi falls through thin air at the foot of Shaheed Minar and it is revealed that, it was Bagchi who was the victim in the first place. An infinite circle, Chakra, is formed over yesterday and today, over Shaheed Minar and the laboratory and over the two existences of Dr. Bagchi who today finds out that he had died yesterday.
