I for one miss the ol' horror tv shows spanning from the 60s on thru to the present, such as WEREWOLF, TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE, NIGHT GALLERY, DARK SHADOWS, KOLCHAK: THE NIGHT STALKER, HAMMER: HOUSE OF HORROR, FREDDY'S NIGHTMARES, MONSTERS, TWILIGHT ZONE, FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE SERIES & TALES FROM THE CRYPT. To the present and recent past with GOOSEBUMPS, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, FOREVER KNIGHT, TORCHWOOD, TRUE BLOOD, THE X-FILES, SUPERNATURAL, MASTERS OF HORROR & FEAR ITSELF. I was looking thru my Scrapbooks of Horror and was thinking back about much good horror tv shows there were. I guess, it may seem chessy now but there is soomething about those shows that most shows don't have today IMO.
There are more that were not named, so feel free to mention them.
With that said though, what are your top 5 favorite horror tv shows, hey scabs and ghouls!?

Mine would be Night Gallery,Kolchack,TZ,Werewolf,TFTC,Buffy and Angel,Tales From The Darkside,Monsters,and a great old one called Cliffhangers.(Hardly any one remembers that one.lol)Perversions Of Science(nice mix of horror and sci fi)I know thats more than 5, but hey,I could list a few more, but will refraine.lol. I love Night Gallery. Such awesome episodes. Also Outer Limits always freaked me out when I was young along with Twilight Zone. Rod Serling was the man! I didn't miss a single episode of X-Files well up until Duchovney left anyway. Kolchak is the shit, is it on DVD? The first season of Master's of Horror was love to me. Such an amazing concept with some of my favorite director's. Maybe it's why Carpenter decided to make another movie.

To be honest I can always enjoy an Tales from the Crypt episodes as long as they're not censored.
Dexter is probably THE best show on TV at the moment. But if anyone's looking for a superb chilling, creepy and scary tv show check out AFTERLIFE, it was created by Stephen Volk, the guy who wrote BBC's infamous Halloween special GHOST WATCH but is so much better. Fuck The Ghost Wisperer and Medium if you want a really good show about the dead with actual evil and scary ghosts check out AFTERLIFE.
