Provocator's BIT Completes Filming

Provocator has announced that they have just wrapped production in Los Angeles on their new vampire horror film titled BIT – written and directed by Brad Michael Elmore (Boogeyman Pop).

BIT tells the story of Laurel, a teenage transgender girl who moves to LA and falls in with a gang of intersectional feminist vampires.  Not knowing if they want to kill her, befriend her or turn her, Laurel learns to understand the love and dangers of her new and first group of friends.

The film will star newcomer Nicole Maines who gave a TEDx Talk about growing up openly transgender.  Nicole was featured in the HBO documentary The Trans List and is the subject of the New York Times bestselling book Becoming Nicole: The Transformation of an American Family by author Amy Ellis Nutt.  She also made a guest appearance, as a transgender teen, in an episode of the USA Network TV drama Royal Pains.

BIT also stars Diana Hopper (Goliath), M.C. Gainey (Django Unchained), James Paxton (Eyewitness) Friday Chamberlain (The Fate of the Furious), Greg Hill (Operation Finale), Zolee Griggs (Adam Knows Everything) and actor Char Diaz. Brad Michael Elmore wrote and directed BIT following his Blumhouse-produced Boogeyman Pop, which premiered at this year’s Cinepocalypse.
